THE PLAN B PROCESS
Let’s start from square 1 together.
People who are suffering from infertility often come to us with questions that they are burdened with. Some of them may include “Why am I not getting pregnant on my own?”, “Why haven’t other treatments worked?”, “Why couldn’t I get a clear diagnosis?”, and many more.
We first find answers for each patient in a systematic manner and use that information to lead you to the best possible path to building the family you deserve.
To ensure a systematic approach, we at Plan B follow a well-thought-out stepwise process process given below :
Book an appointment
Consultation
During your first consultation, we start with a conversation.
We first ask you a few questions related to your medical, surgical, gynaecological, obstetrical history, a few lifestyle questions and questions related to previous fertility treatments, if any. This will help us understand the probable cause of your difficulty to conceive and the reasons for previous treatment failures if any.
Evaluation
Based on the initial consultation, to find the answers we need, we may have to recommend a few necessary tests, which may include blood tests, ultrasound, semen analysis, etc.
For your convenience, we have an in-house blood sample collection facility, high -resolution 2D & 3D Ultrasound and an in-house Semen collection room with all the privacy you need.
Reports Analysis
A follow-up appointment will be scheduled at your convenience, to carefully analyse all your reports and understand the root cause of your fertility issues.
Treatment plan
Based on our evaluation we discuss the appropriate treatment options and offer you a treatment plan that would yield the best possible results.
Counselling
The counsellor and treatment coordinator will help you understand the treatment procedure in detail and explain the financial considerations.
Consents
Before starting treatment, you would be asked to sign the related treatment consent forms. This is to ensure that you are well informed about the treatment in detail and that the uncommon but possible risks associated with the treatments are understood.
Treatment
The treatments we offer range from basic fertility treatments to advanced procedures involving cutting-edge science and assisted reproductive technology which can help couples achieve pregnancy.
While some patients may need only one or two treatment cycles to help them conceive, a few patients may take longer and may require different types of treatments to help them achieve parenthood.
Pregnancy test & Follow up
A pregnancy test is recommended after the treatment is completed.
When the patient conceives, we offer follow-up care during pregnancy until she crosses the most crucial months of pregnancy.
In the unfortunate event that conception does not occur, all steps of the cycle are re-evaluated by our expert team and another treatment plan is made to improve her chances of conception.
